Episode # 51 // Wholehearted: More Than Enough with Christine Hoover
The podcast is back with a new series called Wholehearted. This series will focus on what it looks like to love God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength. You will hear from women who have walked through various challenges and come out on the other side saying, “Jesus is worth it.”
This week’s guest is Christine Hoover. Christine shares with us about the challenge and blessing of writing a Bible study on 2 Corinthians while her son was walking through a journey with cancer. She vulnerably shares how God met her in the midst of her weakness in her toughest season yet. If you are in a tough season or are walking alongside someone who is, this episode is for you! No matter what you’re walking through, this episode will encourage you and remind you that God is for you, not against you.

MEMORABLE QUOTES
God is more than enough for you.
This truth, it's not just a truth that's a word on a page. This is a truth that will carry you through whatever you're going through.
I knew that God was with me and I knew that he could be trusted.
I'm not asking for you to be strong. I'm asking for you to depend on Me for what you need today and I will give you what you need.
This is what suffering does...I'm the only one who can walk this road. No one can believe God for me. Nobody can trust God for me.
This is the race that God has marked out for me. And I cannot depend upon anybody else except for Him.
If I say that I believe that God is real and he is all powerful and sovereign and that he is all comfort...then I must walk that out.
Any sort of suffering reveals things in our hearts and minds that we didn't know were there.
There's nothing outside of his desire to comfort and He is all comfort.
Keep showing up to Him and just pouring out your heart to Him and clinging on to the little truths that you can hold for the time.
