Currently: March

It is March, my friends! As a former teacher, I used to look forward to March because it was spring break month. I always counted down the days and was ready when it came at just the right time. :) This month, I've still got things I'm looking forward to, even though spring break is no longer a reality for me. Here's what's going on currently:

watching: I've been rematching Downton Abbey lately via Amazon Prime. I've seen all of the seasons, but I've only rewatched seasons one through three more than once. Now I'm on season four, and man, it is still so good! It will always be one of my favorite shows.
eating: Rory and I decided to do another Whole 30, so we are eating well! I have to confess that we have built in some cheat days because of some social engagements, though, and that has made it a lot easier to behave during the week.
wearing: My Minnetonka moccasins! I just got them last week and I love them. I'm really looking forward to how they give and stretch with wear.
saying: Our church just ended a 40 day emphasis on prayer, and I've been saying "I'll be praying for you" with sincerity as I've been reminded of the great power of intercession!
posting: All last month I posted my style looks for my #funflirtyFebruary wardrobe challenge on my Instagram account, which was super fun.

Linking up with Anne and Carrie today!

  1. Props to you for doing the Whole 30 challenge (and hey, everybody deserves a cheat day here or there)!! I used to say "I'll be praying for you", a lot, without actually doing it sometimes, so now I'm very intentional about my prayer list and when I tell someone that - I mean it! :)

    1. The Whole 30 is not the worst thing in the world when you have a PLAN!

  2. Ooh I could go for watching Downton Abbey again. And I think that's a totally practical way of approaching a diet for regular life - trying to do "clean" most of the time with some breaks for special occasions. So good for you!

    1. We might just do Whole 30(ish) meals during the week and cheat on the weekends. :)

  4. Yay, for Whole30! We've been following something similar to avoid grains and I feel totally better since taking that step. Thanks for linking up with Currently!

    1. We are actually probably going to be adding in some more whole grains like barley and farro and quinoa to make our meals stretch a little further. :)

  7. Saying you'll pray for someone and actually doing it is so hard! Why is that?!
