Currently: August

Arikok National Park on our honeymoon-wishing we were still there!

I know I must sound like a broken record, but I simply cannot believe it is August already. Where did the summer go? But lo and behold, it is August, and school will begin again soon. Kids are getting ready with new school supplies, books, and outfits. Teachers are mourning  anticipating with margaritas and queso. It's time for school, so here's what I'm currently up to:

reading: Right now I am reading Red by Ted Dekker. It's a part of a series called The Circle Trilogy that my husband recommended to me. I wanted him to read Redeeming Love and The Hunger Games Trilogy, and he wanted me to read these. It's taking me a while to get through them because they aren't what I normally gravitate towards, but I'm learning to enjoy them. :)
wishlisting: Ror and I moved in to a condo, and we love it. It is homey and just enough room for us. However, we most definitely want a house. So these days we are wishlisting our little hearts away via Zillow as we look at homes in the area.
hoping: I can't believe this is my sixth year of teaching, but the numbers don't lie. I am hoping for a wonderful school year. This year I am looping up with my kids, and I hope that we continue to enjoy one another and learn and grow together.
eating: Over the summer and on our honeymoon, we ate out. All. the. time. So we are enjoying eating home-cooked meals. :)
watching: This summer, I wrote a ton of thank you cards to people who poured out generosity over us at wedding showers and at our wedding, so I would put on Gilmore Girls as I worked to help the time pass. I'm still trying to make my way through the whole series, and I'm in the middle of season 6. Also, #teamJessforever

I love doing these monthly link-ups with Anne and Jenna; it is a great opportunity to discover new blogs. Check them out or join us next month!
